Dominik Simon has had one whirlwind of a year on the ice.
Throughout the 2014-15 season, Simon played in the Czech Extraliga for HC Plzen, appeared in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships for Team Czech Republic alongside Jaromir Jagr and heard his name called by the Pittsburgh Penguins as the team’s fifth-round pick (No. 137 overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
