2006-07: Was one of just four Bulldogs to skate in all 39 games in 2006-07...Closed out  his sophomore year with five goals and 11 assists for 16 points to rank sixth on the club in scoring...Scored four times on a power-play unit which ranked fifth among all NCAA D-I schools in efficiency (21.4 percent)...Was named to the 2006-07 WCHA All-Academic Team.

2005-06: His rookie year portfolio included 14 goals (tying him with senior center Tim Stapleton for the Bulldog lead), a team-high four game-winners, and 22 total points – good for fifth place on the UMD charts...Held the honor of scoring UMD’s first goal of 2005-06 (vs. Bemidji State)...Broke an 11-game goal-less skid in Game 2 of the Bulldogs’ WCHA playoff series with Denver by tallying once and then finding the back of the net again (the eventual game-winner) the following night – a victory which sent UMD to its third WCHA Final Five tourney in four years...Recorded two-point nights on four occasions in 2005-06...Paced the Bulldogs in scoring against three separate foes (Alaska Anchorage, Bemidji State and Maine) as a freshman.

BEFORE UMD: Closed the books on a prosperous three-year career at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in 2004-05...Rolled up 93 points — the second highest total on the club — on a team-leading 49 goals and 44 assists in 60 games during the 2004-05 regular season (when Shattuck-St. Mary’s posted a 53-7-2 record)...Played an integral role in Shattuck-St. Mary’s USA Hockey Under 18 national title conquest in March 2005...Paced all tournament participants in points with 13 (seven goals and six assists) in six outings ... finished first among his Shattuck puckmates in penalty minutes (104) in 2004-05...Attended Hastings High School as a freshman and skated a regular shift at forward with the 2001-02 Raiders...Joined fellow Bulldog Mason Raymond as second round picks in the 2005 NHL draft (61st pick overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins)...Is a 2005 graduate of Shattuck-St. Mary’s.
