PITTSBURGH PENGUINS SUMMER HOCKEY SCHOOL, AUGUST 20-24, 2007 - SOLD OUT

The Penguins Summer Hockey School is sold out!
There are a few more GOALIE spots open, but all others will be placed on a waiting list. If an opening occurs, people will be contacted from the waiting list regarding the available spot . No one on the waiting list will be charged until a spot opens and registration is confirmed.

The Pittsburgh Penguins Summer Hockey School gives young players the chance to learn from the pros. Penguins assistant coach, Mike Yeo, is the head instructor, assisted by Penguins’ radio analyst and former Penguin, Phil Bourque. During this five-day camp participants will receive fifteen hours of ice time, with on-ice instruction from Yeo and Bourque as well as off-ice instruction during the daily classroom sessions. Power Skating Sessions with Besa Tsinsadze are included as well. Pittsburgh Penguins Summer Hockey School not only gives these players the opportunity to learn important skills from coaches who truly understand the game, but will also be an experience they enjoy and remember. Camp will be help at the RMU/Island Sports Center on Neville Island.

FOUR HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS EARN HIGHMARK PLAYER OF MONTH HONORS IN PIHL

Bethel Park and Pine-Richland are two of the top seeds in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League playoffs.

And Kenny Lehmann and Andrew Hildreth are big reasons why the Black Hawks and Rams are the top teams in Class AAA and Class AA, respectively.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are proud supporters of youth hockey in the city of Pittsburgh and in Western Pennsylvania. Hockey not only provides children the opportunity to stay active and physically fit, but also enables them the opportunity to learn about teamwork and to build lasting friendships. The Pittsburgh Penguins support the following youth hockey programs in an effort to achieve our goal of helping to facilitate the growth of the sport and giving children the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the game of hockey.

Ultimate Hockey Experience: Two different teams from two different organizations will play a regulation game at Mellon Arena and be matched according to age divisions.

Rink of Dreams Intermission Skate Groups: One team from your organization split into two teams and play for 2-3 minutes during the first intermission.

Youth Hockey Nights: Bring your team out to see a game on these selected nights and save off the gate price.
