Penguins Recall Forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond
The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond from Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton of the American Hockey League.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL), it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

Letourneau-Leblond, 28, is in his first season in the Pittsburgh organization. He has spent the entire campaign thus far with WBS, posting two points (1G-1A) and 137 penalty minutes.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward has played parts of four NHL seasons with the New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames, notching three assists and 101 penalty minutes in 40 regular-season games. Letourneau-Leblond has also played in five career postseason contests.

A native of Levis, Quebec, Letourneau-Leblond has played eight seasons in the AHL with the Albany River Rats, Lowell/Albany Devils, Abbotsford Heat, Norfolk Admirals and WBS. He has 49 points (22G-27A) and 1,198 penalty minutes in 306 AHL regular-season games.

Originally drafted by New Jersey in the seventh round (216th overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft, Letourneau-Leblond skated two seasons of junior hockey with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) between 2003-05.
