Penguins Ranked No. 1 in Radio Rankings
The Pittsburgh Penguins ranked No. 1 in the NHL in radio ratings in the key male 25-54 demographic according to Arbitron, Inc. ratings for the January-May 2013 time period. The specific category was “average game share.” The Penguins’ flagship station is 105.9 The X (WXDX-FM).
Last month it was announced that the Penguins’ TV ratings for the 2012-13 season were the highest for any NHL, NBA or MLB team on a regional sports network in the U.S. since 2002.
The Penguins’ led all U.S.-based NHL teams in website visits for the 2012-13 season.
