Penguins to Face Boston Bruins in Eastern Conference Final
The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the Boston Bruins in the third round of the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs, the Eastern Conference Final.
The fourth-seeded Bruins defeated the sixth-seeded New York Rangers in five games to advance.
This will be the fifth postseason meeting between the Penguins and the Bruins and the first since 1992, where Pittsburgh dispatched of Boston in four games en route to winning their second of back-to-back Stanley Cups.
The Penguins swept the regular-season series with the Bruins, winning all three meetings by one goal. Tyler Seguin scored one goal for Boston in all three games, while seven different Penguins scored Pittsburgh's eight goals in those contests (Brandon Sutter had two).
