SENS ROUND UP
A couple updates from the Sens morning skate. It looks like Milan Michalek is good to go and expected to play. Coach Paul MacLean said the team is "considering" playing Stone in place of Conacher. Although, from talking to Stone, it sounds like that change is definitely going to happen.
Erik Karlsson was very loose at practice, lots of laughing and smiles coming from this guy
Longtime Senators Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza having a conversation
Craig Anderson was excellent last game. Can he repeat that performance tonight?
Alfie sprays snow. He was one of the heroes of Game 3
Sergei Gonchar looks focused
Mika Zibanejad and Spezza work on faceoffs -- the Sens did very well in this area last game
Chris Neil will play in Game 4 despite leaving Game 3 after falling awkwardly into the boards (he skated yesterday also)
Anderson has a quiet moment as the skate wraps up
I started this section with a photo of Karlsson so I'll end this section with a photo of Karlsson
The Ottawa Senators took the ice for their morning skate. Milan Michalek was absent. Here are how the lines shook down without him thanks to Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun.
Also, according to Ian Mendes, Gryba is back at practice for the first time since Game 1.
START ME UP
Good morning Pens fans! Today Pittsburgh will hit the ice at 11:30 a.m. for their morning skate at Scotiabank Place. The Senators have the ice prior to that. Both teams will meet in Game 4 of the conference semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Stick here for all the latest updates to get you ready for the game!
We'll start the day by going back to my high school days. I've been hearing a lot of Rancid played in NHL arenas lately (much to my pleasure). So I feel that it's a sign that I need to play them to start the day. Here is "Lock, Step and Gone." Not only does Rancid remind me of high school, but also playing Rancid covers in my cousin's garage - "Radio," "Salvation," "Side Kick." The good old days. Memories.
