MORROW NOTE
Forward Brenden Morrow left the Penguins practice early and did not return. When asked for an update, head coach Dan Bylsma said: "Don't have an update on Morrow leaving the ice for you."

KILLING TIME
Prior to practice, some of the players like to invent games to pass the time. In Tuesday's installment, the goal was to get this hockey ball to stay on top of the "ON AIR" sign.

Bortuzzo gives it a try (although he's so tall he could probably just place it on top).

SUCCESS!!! Someone pulled it off, although who will remain a mystery

Socks anyone?

PENS PRACTICE DEETS
Joe Vitale, who did not practice Sunday and missed Game 3, was back on the ice with the team. The Pens are all accounted for at practice. Perfect attendance.

SENS ROUND UP
Senators forward Chris Neil left Game 3 after he lost an edge and went head first into the corner boards. Brooks Orpik went to hit him right before that, but after his skate blade fell out, the extra shove added some momentum to the collision. After a day off Monday, Neil was back on the ice for the Senators.

After practice, when asked about Neil's status, Senators coach Paul MacLean answered, "Chris Neil practiced today, there's nothing wrong with him. There's nothing to update." Looks like he will be fine for Game 4...

PENS APPROACH
Throughout these playoffs, the Penguins have approached both wins and losses, no matter the final score and how the games played out, with the same mentality.

From their very first game of this postseason, a 5-0 win over the New York Islanders in Pittsburgh, to the most recent, Sunday’s 2-1 double overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators, the Penguins have handled every result the same way.

They focus immediately on the next game.

MONDAY NEWS & NOTES
The Pens did not practice on Monday, but there were a few updates provided by head coach Dan Bylsma, particularly in regards to Joe Vitale and Jussi Jokinen.

Full story here.
