Penguins Re-Assign Forward Steve MacIntyre to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Steve MacIntyre to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
MacIntyre, 32, recorded 12 penalty minutes in one game with Pittsburgh this season. He has played in 29 AHL games this season for WBS.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will play Game 2 of its first-round series against the Binghamton Senators on Sunday at 5 p.m. The Penguins hold a 1-0 series lead following a 3-2 overtime win on Saturday night thanks to a Chad Kolarik overtime tally.
