LOCKER ROOM SOUND
COACHSPEAK WITH DAN BYLSMA...
Coach Bylsma said there are no injuries to speak of regarding the roster.
He added that there has been a scoring change on the Pens' second goal in Buffalo. It was a power-play goal by Sidney Crosby. It originally was credited with assists to Malkin and Kunitz. But the official scorer later ruled the Weber had possession of the puck, and therefore the goal was recorded as unassisted. After a review by the league, assists have been given back to Malkin and Kunitz.

Niskanen chatting with Todd Reirden...managed to get all the coaches (minus goalie coach Giles Meloche) in my photos today
Neal totally focused going to the net

Another learning moment for Beau, this time with Sutter
All 23 Pens were in attendance for the team's practice. They used the following line combos:
The defensemen rotated through their pairings.
Update: No change to the top PP unit: Martin, Malkin, Crosby, Neal and Kunitz.
COOKING WITH GENO II (sort of)
Evgeni Malkin, king of social media, was at it again yesterday. Malkin put this picture on his official Instagram (emalkin71_) of him cooking some breakfast.
In the caption, Malkin wrote: "Kak-to tak)))zato vkusno!!!" Thankfully, my dear friend Alyonka Larionov was kind enough to translate to English.
In case you all forgot about the epic PensTV video that Alyonka and Malkin did a few years ago called "Cooking with Geno," here you go.
PLAYS OF THE WEEK
Before kicking into the new week, as usual let's take a peek back at the best plays from last week.
START THE DAY
After winning back-to-back road games in Winnipeg and Buffalo, the Pens were given a much-deserved day off on Monday. They're back to work today, and will hit the ice at CONSOL Energy Center for an 11:00 a.m. practice.
