November 9-11, 2012: Penguins Power Play Street Hockey Tournament at Dek-Star

The annual Penguins’ 4-on-4 is just one month away. From November 9-11, the Penguins Power Play Street Hockey Tournament will be held at Dek-Star Dek Hockey, on Route 279 in Ohio Township (Team Pittsburgh’s facility in Brighton Heights will be used as an auxiliary rink on Saturday, November 10).

This tournament MAXED OUT last year at Bill’s Dek Hockey, please make your intentions known ASAP! Email StreetHockeyUSA@hotmail.com.

Divisions: Men’s Open, D & Novice; Youth 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, High School. Youth divisions will be segregated by skill level where possible. Player’s age as of 1/1/12 determines eligibility in 7-9, 10-12, 13-15. Must have valid school ID for high school division. High school teams must be composed of players from same school.

Cost: $180 per team.

  • 3 games guaranteed per team. Games begin Friday at 6pm.
  • Prizes will be given to each member of championship and runner-up teams.
  • Team trophies will be given to champs and runners-up (also third-place in youth divisions).
  • All youth players will receive prizes.
  • The ASHI/IDTA rulebook will be used. Each team uses four runners and a goalie. Games consist of one 20-minute running-time period. Minimum roster is 6, maximum 9.
