Hockey Night In Boston Tournament Recap

The Hockey Night in Boston Tournament was held last week in Haverhill, MA. The event featured teams from all over the country, including the first ever ‘Sophomore’ team from Pittsburgh. Now in its 38th year, the event serves as an important scouting event for College coaches who want a head start on the next up-and-coming players.
The Pittsburgh team, was led by Coach Jonathan Johnson (Shady Side Academy Men’s Prep Head Coach), the team compiled a record of 2-3-1 and finished in second place in their division.
In addition to the tournament, an All-Star game took place, which was composed of the top eighty players from the whole tournament. Two players from the Pittsburgh team, Matt D’Angelo (Shady Side Academy) and Christopher Campbell (Butler), were selected and represented Pittsburgh in the game.
