Little Penguins Learn to Play Dek Hockey

The Pittsburgh Penguins are proud to announce a new learn to play dek hockey program for 4-9 year olds beginning in July of 2012. The Penguins will partner up with six local dek hockey rinks in support of the first annual ‘Little Penguins Learn to Play Dek Hockey Program’. Dek Star Dek Hockey Center, Murrysville Dek Hockey, Bill’s Dek Hockey, Cranberry Dek Hockey, Family Sports Center and the newly opened South Hills Dek Hockey will all host learn to play programs. The program will begin in July with lengths and prices varying at each dek rink (please see below to view the details of each program). Each participant will receive a full set of equipment from Mylec that will include a helmet, stick, gloves, elbow pads and shin pads. The program will be a fun introduction to ball hockey giving kids the opportunity to learn and build on existing skills of the game. From recreational to professional hockey players, dek hockey is the starting point for many. Please do not miss out on this great opportunity and sign up today!
