The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Strait, 24, has appeared in seven games this season for Pittsburgh, recording one assist and posting an even rating while averaging 12:34 minutes. Strait picked up his first NHL point (assist) against the New York Islanders on March 27.
