The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned goaltender Brad Thiessen to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Thiessen, 26, has appeared in five games this season with Pittsburgh, posting a 3-1 record. He earned his first NHL victory by stopping 22-of-24 shots in a 4-2 defeat of the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 26 at CONSOL Energy Center.
