High School Hockey Teams To Play Outdoor Charity Series At North and South Parks
Eight local high school hockey teams will play an outdoor series at North and South Parks in January to raise money for various charities.
“The PIHL High School Hockey Outdoor Charity Series,” presented by the Centers for Rehab Services, begins with two games on Friday, Jan. 6 at South Park. There also will be two games at North Park on Friday, Jan. 13. Last year’s event raised almost $45,000.
Friday, Jan. 6 – South Park
6:30 p.m., WESTMONT HILLTOP vs. QUAKER VALLEY, benefitting University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Research
8:30 p.m., MT. LEBANON vs. PITTSBURGH CENTRAL CATHOLIC, benefitting the PIHL Paul Sciullo Memorial Scholarship
Tickets are $5 pre-sale and $7 on game days. Commemorative t-shirts are $12 pre-sale and $15 on game days. A ticket/t-shirt package is $15 pre-sale and $20 on game days.
