Penguins Re-Assign Defenseman Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned defenseman Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Strait, 23, has appeared in one game this season for the Penguins. During that contest at Minnesota on Oct. 18, Strait suffered an elbow injury that sidelined him for 25 games between Oct. 20-Dec. 17.
Strait has played in six games this year for WBS, collecting one goal, four points and a plus-6 rating.
