The Pittsburgh Penguins’ unique “Free Game For Kids” on Saturday highlights a busy opening week of the Pens’ pre-season schedule.
The Penguins will distribute 18,000 free tickets to local youth for Saturday’s 3 p.m. game against the Minnesota Wild at CONSOL Energy Center.
Before that, the Pens open the pre-season Wednesday night by hosting the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center. They will then host the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday at 7 p.m.
ROOT SPORTS will televise all three home games this week from CONSOL Energy Center. PCNC will televise the final road pre-season game from Detroit Oct. 2. All Pens pre-season games also will be carried on radio – on 105.9 The X, Penguins HD radio and www.pittsburghpenguins.com.
