Eleven Pittsburgh Youth Teams to Compete In USA Hockey Nationals
‘Mighty Penguins’ Also Set for Sled Hockey Nationals

Eleven Pittsburgh youth hockey teams will compete in different age groups at the USA Hockey Nationals March 30-April 3.
Boys teams reaching the national level are the ’98 Amateur Penguins (Tier I), the 16-and-under Pittsburgh Hornets (Tier I), the Team Pittsburgh ‘98’s (Tier II), the 14-and-under North Pittsburgh Wildcats (Tier II), the 16-and-under Mid-State Mustangs (Tier II) and the 18-and-under Allegheny Badgers (Tier II).
Girls teams competing at the nationals are the 12-and-under Penguins Elite (Tier I), the 14-and-under Penguins Elite (Tier I), the 16-and-under Team Pittsburgh (Tier I), the 16-and-under Steel City Selects (Tier II) and the 12-and-under Amateur Penguins (Tier II).

Also, the Pittsburgh Mighty Penguins sled hockey team will be competing in the Sled Hockey National Championships April 1-3 at Blaine, Minnesota.
