0:00: That's game! The Penguins have extended their unbeaten streak to 7-0-1! Fleury made a season-high 43 saves in the win, with Ottawa outshooting Pittsburgh, 44-40.

1:26:
Fleury smothers a blast from the point. Faceoff coming in the Penguins zone, and a timeout has been called.

3:46:
Dupuis just has a great opportunity on Leclaire, who makes a big save.

5:55:
The Sens just got a 3-on-1 opportunity that Fleury turns away. The crowd is really getting into this one.

7:15:
We've got another fight going on in front of the Penguins net! Both Fleury and Chris Neil lost their helmets as they got in each others' faces. Neil and Conner (who is serving the penalty for Fleury) are getting coincidental minors, and we're going to play some 4-on-4 hockey.

9:03:
We've got a scrum in front of Fleury! Emotions are running rampant with the game being so tight, but no penalties will be called.

10:10:
Big play by Dupuis. He knocked the puck out of midair and cleared it out of danger. The Pens are now back to full strength.

11:37:
Malkin is heading to the box for hooking.

12:43:
Dupuis and Crosby head down for a 2-on-1, but they can't get a shot off.

13:37:
A shot deflects off Leclaire's pad to a wide open Rupp, whose shot is turned aside.

14:55:
Beautiful patience by Alex Goligoski. He sidesteps around a few Ottawa defenders until the perfect opening came up for him to lift the puck past Leclaire. Penguins 2, Senators 1

17:13:
Chris Kelly is getting a double minor for holding and hooking.

18:34:
Milan Michalek lays a huge hit on Cooke.

19:59:
The third period has begun!

20:00:
After allowing a season-high 21 shots in the first period, the Penguins responded by blasting a season-high 20 shots in the second.

SECOND PERIOD NOTES
- Through just two periods, Fleury has tied his season high of 31 saves.
- Tyler Kennedy has fired a team-leading six shots on goal.
- Pittsburgh is 6-2-1 so far this season when tied after two periods.

0:00:
That's it for the second. The teams are now deadlocked 1-1 thanks to a goal from Malkin, with Pittsburgh outshooting Ottawa, 34-32.

0:59:
Kennedy receives a feed from Conner and blasts it from one knee much like Malkin's earlier goal, but Leclaire makes the stop.

2:14:
We keep catching glimpses of a bird fluttering around the media level - hopefully no one here has ornithophobia.

3:18:
Phenomenal pressure by Pittsburgh these last few shifts. Ottawa holds the slight edge in shots, 32-31.

3:50:
What a fantastic save sequence by Leclaire - the puck kept bouncing out to crashing Penguins, but the Sens netminder stopped all five shots.

4:45:
Malkin wheels around to whip it at Leclaire, but he makes the save.

5:45:
A rebound off Leclaire's pad bounces to Talbot, whose shot goes wide. Now the Pens are getting a power play, as Daniel Alfredsson heads to the box for hooking.

7:12:
A shot is deflected on its way to Fleury, but he's able to follow its path and make the save.

8:00:
Winchester nearly gets his second goal of the night with a couple of nifty moves, but Fleury makes the save. Rupp is going to the box for boarding, Pens back on the PK.

8:44:
The Kid is unstoppable right now - with the assist on Malkin's goal, he has now extended his point streak to 11 games, which is currently the league's longest active. He now has 22 points (9G-13A) during the stretch.

9:41:
Crosby dances around two Sens defenders and puts the puck on net - the rebound squirts out to a crashing Malkin, who got low and one-timed it while on one knee for the score. Penguins 1, Senators 1

10:28:
Malkin sends a perfect cross-ice pass to Letang, who one-times it into Leclaire.

11:21:
Leclaire ROBS a wide open Crosby with a pretty glove save.

11:49:
They come out of the penalty scot-free. Crosby goes down the ice as the penalty expires and almost beats Leclaire short side. Erik Karlsson gets two for interference, Pens now on the power play.

13:00: Pens with a huge clear all the way down the ice.

13:37:
...And Cooke got a penalty on the play for boarding. Pens on the PK.

13:55:
Cooke, Talbot and Malkin just had a huge scoring chance - the three of them tried to jump on a loose puck in the slot, but couldn't get a handle on it. Sens defenseman Erik Karlsson gets hurt on the play and has to be helped off the ice. We'll keep you posted on his status.

15:04:
Crosby tries to float a pass to Kunitz, but the Sens defense collapses hard on them.

16:35:
Orpik's shot deflects off Leclaire and comes to rest in the crease, but no Penguin can reach it in time.

18:21:
Fleury saves a Senators shot with his pad, and recovers to grab the subsequent rebound. Huge pair of blocks! He lost his stick in the commotion and his pad went out of whack, but Fleury stayed cool and confident.

19:43:
Leclaire almost bobbles a shot by Crosby, but recovers to make the save.

20:00:
The puck has dropped to start the middle frame.

SECOND PERIOD

FIRST PERIOD NOTES
- The Senators have fired 21 shots, the most the Penguins have allowed in a period this season.
- Ottawa has eclipsed their shot total from each of their previous two games (19).
- Ben Lovejoy has logged 5:41 minutes of ice time.

0:00:
That's it for the first. Ottawa holds a 1-0 lead off a goal from Jesse Winchester and has outshot Pittsburgh 21-14.

0:08: Conner with a nice shot block on a blast from a Sens defenseman. He's gonna feel that one.

1:56:
Cooke's shot meanders through traffic and makes its way to the net, but it deflects wide.

2:23:
Spezza finds some space in the slot to shoot, but Fleury says no and makes his 20th save of the period.

2:37:
Milan Michalek fires a shot from the corner, which Fleury manages to hold onto despite the odd angle.

4:03:
The Senators have fired 18 shots this period, a new season high.

4:46:
Dupuis' backhand is barely kicked away by Leclaire.

5:20:
Kelly tees off a shot, but Fleury comes up with a big save.

6:30:
Conner gets a blast off, but it's deflected wide.

7:49:
The Sens strike first - Jesse Winchester finds his own rebound through a scrum and stuffs it past Fleury. Senators 1, Penguins 0

8:02:
The Penguins are now honoring former Penguin Alexei Kovalev and Ottawa captain Daniel Alfredsson, who both reached the 1,000-point milestone this season.

Kovalev played 345 games with the Penguins from '98-'03. He recorded 149 goals, 198 assists and 357 penalty minutes with Pittsburgh. He got the 1,000th point of his career with a goal in a 3-2 win over Los Angeles on Nov. 22.

Alfredsson notched his 1,000th point in a 4-2 win over Buffalo on Oct. 22. He now holds the Senators' all-time lead in games played (1,024), goals (383), assists (127) and points (1,010).

8:07:
Fleury just made an absolutely unbelievable save, the kind that gives us goosebumps. Kelly had a wide-open shot just feet away from the net, but Fleury pulls a wheel-o-rama and makes a glove save. The crowd started chanting "Fleury! Fleury!" right after.

9:57:
Kennedy finds some wide open ice and blasts a shot at Leclaire, but the Sens netminder makes the save.

11:22:
Jarkko Ruutu finds Chris Neil in the slot, whose wrister is easily saved by Fleury.

11:54:
The Senators have been taking a lot of perimeter shots so far this period - the Pens defense is doing a nice job of holding them to the outside.

12:50:
Letang's shot goes through the crease, just missing the net!

13:14:
Orpik makes a nice heads-up pass to Kunitz, who is stopped at the blue line. Then Crosby picks up the puck to go on alone on three Calgary defenders - he splits them and manages to get a shot off while being escorted to the ground by a pair of defensemen, but Leclaire makes the save.

13:53:
Fleury turns aside two long blasts.

14:45:
Talbot dives and manages to poke the puck from an Ottawa player while on his knees, but the Sens manage to clear.

15:34:
A pass from behind the net makes it in front to Peter Regin, but Fleury somehow makes the stop while on his back! Then Regin gets another good chance, but Fleury denies him again. Great pair of saves.

16:09:
Kunitz's shot deflects high and out of play. Faceoff coming.

16:48:
Adams finishes his forecheck with a hard hit on an Ottawa defenseman.

18:17:
The third line of Conner, Letestu and Kennedy is having a great shift. They almost get a re-direct on net, but it's turned away.

19:36:
Dupuis fires a shot that Leclaire bobbles, but Kunitz can't get to the rebound in time.

20:00:
And they're off! Gotta love these afternoon games.

FIRST PERIOD

1:00:
Here are the lines the Pens will use this afternoon:

Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Cooke-Malkin-Talbot
Conner-Letestu-Kennedy
Rupp-Adams-Asham

Orpik-Letang
Martin-Michalek
Goligoski-Lovejoy

Fleury gets the nod in net.

Today, the Pens take on the Ottawa Senators for the second time this season. Pittsburgh defeated Ottawa 5-2 on Oct. 18 here at the CONSOL Energy Center. Check out the preview for today's game here.

The Penguins have just returned from a successful Dads' Trip, where the team recorded a pair of wins over Florida (3-2, Nov. 22) and Buffalo (1-0, Nov. 24). It's the third time in five seasons the Penguins have swept the trip since GM Ray Shero instituted it in '06-'07.

Happy Black Friday everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and ate plenty of turkey and sweet potatoes (my personal favorite), then found some great deals at the stores.
