The Pittsburgh Penguins will wear their blue third jerseys for Friday’s game against the New York Islanders at CONSOL Energy Center – the first of 10 times this season that they will wear the blue third jersey/uniform.
The Penguins also will unveil a special new Winter Classic uniform later this month. That will be worn for the Jan. 1 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Heinz Field as well as two other times later in the season.
