Pens Pick 20th in 2010 NHL Entry Draft

Pittsburgh Penguins
The Pittsburgh Penguins have seven selections, including the 20th-overall pick in the first round, in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, to be held Friday, June 25 (Round 1) and Saturday, June 26 (Rounds 2-7) at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Round 1 will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday and will be nationally televised by VERSUS. The NHL Network will carry Rounds 2-7 on Saturday, with coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET.
Along with their first-round pick, the Penguins have picks in the third (80th overall), fourth (110th), fifth (140th), two sixth (152nd and 170th) and seventh round (200th).
The Penguins traded their second-round pick to Florida for defenseman Jordan Leopold. The extra sixth-round selection came from Toronto in a deal that sent Chris Peluso to the Maple Leafs.
The Penguins current roster has nine regulars that were drafted by Pittsburgh, including five that were taken in the first round.
Joining first-round selections Brooks Orpik (2000, 18th overall), Marc-Andre Fleury (2003, 1st), Evgeni Malkin (2004, 2nd), Sidney Crosby (2005, 1st) and Jordan Staal (2006, 2nd) are Tyler Kennedy (2004, 99th), Max Talbot (2002, 234th), Kris Letang (2005, 62nd) and Alex Goligoski (2004, 61st).
Four other Penguins’ draft picks saw brief action in Pittsburgh: Nick Johnson (2004, 67th), Dustin Jeffrey (2007, 171st), Alexander Pechurski (2008, 150th) and since traded Luca Caputi (2007, 111th).
