Top U.S. High School Hockey Players To Compete In \"America\u2019s Showcase\" Tournament April 14-18, Presented By 84 Lumber
Some of the best high school hockey players in the country will be coming to Pittsburgh April 14-18 to compete in USA Hockey’s “America’s Showcase,” presented by 84 Lumber.

Two Pittsburgh teams will be among the 18 high school all-star teams competing at RMU Island Sports Center.

The five-day tournament, formerly known as the Chicago Showcase, gives more than 300 players a chance to perform in front of scouts from major college and junior teams from across the country.

Teams representing Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Northern New England, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Oregon and Washington are among those scheduled to compete.

“We are excited to give young players from all four corners of the United States the chance to showcase their skills in a great hockey town like Pittsburgh,” said the America’s Showcase director Kathy Santora.  “Hockey fans throughout Western Pennsylvania will certainly appreciate the talent that will be on display during the tournament.”

Tickets for the tournament will be sold at the door.  Daily passes will be available for $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.  Event passes, which will be valid for the entire tournament, will also be available for $25 for adults and $15 for seniors and students.

The event is hosted by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL).
