Penguins Recall Defenseman Chris Lee
The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled defenseman Chris Lee from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero.

Lee, 29, leads all WBS blueliners with seven points (1G-6A) through 15 games, and is third overall on the club with 41 shots.

The 6-foot, 185-pound defenseman is looking to make his NHL debut. He signed with the Penguins this past offseason after playing five-plus seasons in the AHL with Bridgeport, Omaha, Albany and Iowa, and with Florida of the East Coast Hockey League. In 185 career AHL games, Lee has collected 83 points on 18 goals and 65 assists.

The MacTier, Ontario native played four seasons of college hockey with SUNY-Potsdam, averaging over one point per game in his career. Lee posted 115 points (41G-74A) in 110 games. He set personal bests with 17 goals, 32 assists and 49 points during his senior campaign.
