Crosby Maintains All-Star Voting Lead
For the third straight week, Sidney Crosby held the top position among all Eastern Conference vote-getters in the XM / NHL All-Star Fan Balloting, Presented by 2K Sports.
Crosby leads the East with 268,045 votes, followed by
182,686 votes and
The voting will determine the starting lineups for the 2008 NHL All-Star Game, which will be played on Sunday, Jan. 27 in
Rounding out the top 10 are forwards Daniel Alfredsson (119,825) of the Ottawa Senators and Vincent Lecavalier (117,058) of the Tampa Bay Lightning; goaltender Cristobal Huet (106,726); defenseman Brian Campbell (102,024) of the Buffalo Sabres; forward Daniel Briere (101,508) of the Philadelphia Flyers; defenseman Tomas Kaberle (98,049) of the Toronto Maple Leafs; and goaltender Henrik Lundqvist (91,609) of the New York Rangers.
