Pittsburgh Penguins
Mike Lange
Mike Lange and Phil Bourque will return for their second season together in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ radio broadcast booth, the club announced today.

Lange will again call the play-by-play and Bourque will provide color and analysis on the Penguins’ flagship station, 105.9 “The X” (WXDX) and the Penguins radio network.

Lange, who enters his 32nd season as a Penguins broadcaster, agreed to a one-year deal. He is known for his creative style and colorful phrases – especially his goal calls -- and received the Foster Hewitt Award from the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001.

Phil Bourque
Bourque, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Penguins as a player, enters his fourth season in the club’s radio booth. He agreed to a two-year deal. In 477 NHL games with the Penguins, New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators, the versatile left winger and defenseman scored 88 goals and 199 points.

Lange and Bourque will call all 82 regular season games on “The X,” starting with the regular season opener October 5th at Carolina.

“The X” is part of the Clear Channel Communications radio group, which also includes WDVE (102.5 FM), 3WS (94.5 FM), WPGB (104.7 FM), KISS (96.1 FM) and Fox Sports Radio (970 AM).
