WILKES-BARRE\/SCRANTON STAVES OFF ELIMINATION WITH GAME 4 WIN

Kurtis McLean scored a pair of goals Wednesday night to lift Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to a 3-2 win over Hershey in Game 4 of the AHL East Division Finals.

The triumph staved off elimination for the Penguins, who trail the series 3-1. Game 5 is Friday night in Hershey.

Ryan Stone added a goal for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Kyle Brodziak had two assists. Micki DuPont, Jonathan Filewich, Jean-Francois Jacques and Tom Gilbert all had assists.

Nolan Schaefer earned the win in goal as he turned aside 25 shots.
