The Foreurs will take on Lewiston for the league championship. That series begins Friday night in Lewiston.

The Penguins prospect is second overall in postseason scoring with 28 points (11+17) through 15 games. He has 38 penalty minutes as well.

Val-d’Or teammate Brad Marchand is atop the scoring list with 35 points (16+19) in 16 games.

However, Letang leads all defensemen in points by a wide margin. Cape Breton’s Jean-Claude Sawyer is second with 19 points (3+16) in 16 games.

Letang had two goals in seven games with the Penguins this year before the 19-year-old was returned to Val-d’Or.
