FILEWICH\'S GOAL LIFTS WILKES-BARRE\/SCRANTON TO WIN

Jonathan Filewich’s goal 7:03 into overtime Monday night lifted Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to a 3-2 win at Norfolk.

The Penguins lead the Calder Cup playoff series, 2-1, heading into Wednesday night’s game in Norfolk.

Marc-Antoine Pouliot gave Wilkes-Barre/Scranton a 1-0 lead at the first intermission.

Norfolk scored twice in the second for a 2-1 advantage heading into the third.

Micki DuPont tied the game, 2-2, for the Penguins 5:53 into the third before Filewich won the game in OT.

Tom Gilbert and Robert Nilsson both had two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, while Connor James and Ryan Stone added helpers.

Nolan Schaefer stopped 31 of 33 shots to earn the win in goal.
