Wilkes-Barre/Scranton evened its Calder Cup playoff series with Norfolk with a 5-2 home triumph Saturday night.

The Penguins posted a 2-1, at the first intermission on goals from Kurtis McLean and Micki DuPont.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scored two more times in the third on Jonathan Filewich and Robert Nilsson goals before Norfolk found the back of the net again. Filewich scored his second goal of the contest to cap the scoring.

Filewich led the Penguins with two goals and an assist, while DuPont had a goal and an assist.

Nolan Schaefer earned the win in goal as he stopped 29 of 31 shots.

The series shifts to Norfolk for the next three games Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It returns to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for Games 6 and 7 (if necessary).
