PENGUINS WELCOME RANGERS TO MELLON ARENA ON SATURDAY
The Pittsburgh Penguins return to action Saturday at 1 p.m. as they welcome the New York Rangers to Mellon Arena.

Evgeni Malkin leads all rookies in scoring with 71 points (30+41) in 63 games. Colorado’s Paul Stastny is second with 65 points (22+43) in 68 games. Penguins winger Jordan Staal is sixth in rookie scoring with 37 points (27+10). He leads all NHL players with a 26.0 shooting percentage and seven short-handed goals, an NHL record for rookies.
Sergei Gonchar is tied for second in scoring among NHL defensemen with 55 points (12+43). He is four points behind Detroit’s Nicklas Lidstrom, who leads the list with 58 points (11+47).
