Sunday, 02.04.2007 / 12:00 AM / News
Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins return to action Sunday at 2 p.m. in Montreal.

FSN Pittsburgh will televise the contest at 2 p.m., while 105.9 The X will start its radio broadcast with a pregame show at 1:30 p.m. The broadcast may be found live through streaming audio on pittsburghpenguins.com as well. Tune in for Penguins Hotline following every game on 105.9 The X and the Penguins Radio Network. Join in the conversation with host Bob Grove by calling the Penn Telecom toll-free line at 1-866-922-2874.

Email crashthenet@pittsburghpenguins.com and maybe Bob Grove or Phil Bourque will answer your question during the second intermission of the game.

The contest marks the second-straight afternoon game for the Penguins (26-17-8), who have won a season-high six games. The last time the team won six games in a row happened in January, 2002. In addition, Pittsburgh has picked up a point in its last nine games.

The Canadiens and Penguins met on Thursday at Mellon Arena in an intense 5-4 Pittsburgh overtime shootout win.

“Especially for the French guys, it’s always a little special [going to Montreal],” Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury said. “The last game was intense and there was a lot of goal scoring, so I think it’ll be a good hockey game.”

Fleury picked up his second shutout in his last three games. He is slated to get the start in goal Sunday, too.
