Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins return to action Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against the Atlanta Thrashers at Mellon Arena.

All fans ages 14 and under in attendance at Mellon Arena will receive a Trib Total Media Penguins youth street hockey stick.

After winning four-straight games, the Penguins (15-14-6) have dropped their last four games. They look to get back on track at home as the team plays its next three games on Mellon Arena ice.

Sidney Crosby had his 10-game points streak halted in Tuesday night’s 3-0 loss at New Jersey. He maintains his grasp on the NHL scoring lead with 55 points (17+38) in 32 games.

Evgeni Malkin and Los Angeles forward Anze Kopitar are tied for the lead in rookie scoring. Malkin has 33 points (17+16) in 31 games, while Kopitar has 33 points (11+22) in 38 games.
