EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The New Jersey Devils held off the Penguins for a 3-0 win Tuesday night.

Travis Zajac got the Devils on the scoreboard 1:23 into the second period when his shot beat Marc-Andre Fleury.

Jay Pandolfo slammed in a rebound with 4:02 left in regulation for a 2-0 advantage.

Brian Gionta backhanded a puck past Fleury for a 3-0 lead with 2:02 remaining.

Sidney Crosby saw his 10-game points streak halted by Martin Brodeur and the Devils. The 19-year-old phenom had 23 points (7+16) during the spree, which matched his career high. The Penguins return to action Wednesday night at home against Atlanta.
