CROSBY TO MISS WENDESDAY'S GAME AGAINST BRUINS
The Pittsburgh Penguins look to make it three wins in a row Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. when the Boston Bruins visit Mellon Arena for a Thanksgiving Eve contest.
Pittsburgh will be without Sidney Crosby as he is sitting out the game with a sore groin muscle. His status is day-to-day. He is third in overall scoring with 30 points. He has 10 goals and 20 assists.
The Penguins (10-7-2) have won their last two games and three of their last four overall. They take on the Bruins (8-8-2) for the first time this season on Wednesday.
Evgeni Malkin is tied for the rookie scoring race with Kings forward Anze Kopitar with 18 points. Malkin leads all rookies with nine goals. He has nine assists as well. Penguins rookie Jordan Staal ranks second among rookies with seven goals.
Marc-Andre Fleury will get the start in goal for the Penguins. He has a 10-5-1 record with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
