PENGUINS BATTLE OTTAWA ON FRIDAY AT MELLON ARENA

The Pittsburgh Penguins meet the Ottawa Senators for the first time this season when the two teams meet Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Mellon Arena.

The Penguins (7-4-2) are looking for their first home win over the Senators since Nov. 22, 2003, when they posted a 2-1 overtime triumph. Ottawa (5-8-1) swept the season series, 4-0, last season.

Pittsburgh has earned points in its last two games, but dropped both contests in overtime to Anaheim and Tampa Bay, respectively.

Marc-Andre Fleury gets the start in goal for Pittsburgh – his 13th in 14 games this year. He hopes to continue his strong play. He has a 7-4-1 record, a 2.76 goals-against average an a .917 save percentage.

FSN Pittsburgh will televise the contest at 7:30 p.m., while 105.9 The X will start its radio broadcast with a pregame show at 7 p.m. The broadcast may be found live through streaming audio on pittsburghpenguins.com as well.
