PENGUINS REDUCE CAMP ROSTER BY FIVE
PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins have trimmed their training camp roster by five, it was announced today by General Manager Ray Shero.
The Penguins re-assigned four players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins – forwards Jordan Morrison, Mathieu Roy and Tim Wallace and defenseman Paul Bissonnette. Goaltender Patrick Ehelechner was returned to Duisburg (Germany).
The moves leave the Penguins with 43 players on their training camp roster.
PENGUINS MOVE TRAINING CAMP TO MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK, OPEN PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE ON TUESDAY
The Penguins will resume practice on Monday in Moncton, NB and open their pre-season schedule on Tuesday in Halifax, NS. The Penguins will face the Ottawa Senators in Halifax on Tuesday and the Philadelphia Flyers in Moncton on Wednesday. Both games begin at 6:30 p.m. and are being televised by FSN Pittsburgh.
