PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins have trimmed their training camp roster by two, it was announced Wednesday by General Manager Ray Shero.
Forward Nick Johnson is returning to Dartmouth College and defenseman Daniel Fernholm has been re-assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).
The moves leave the Penguins with 48 players on their training camp roster. Players report to training camp tomorrow for physicals and testing with on-ice practices beginning on Friday at Mellon Arena.
