ALUMNI TEAM UP WITH FOX CHAPEL HOCKEY TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY
The Penguins Alumni Hockey Team traveled to Bladerunners in Harmarville on February 25 to face-off against the Fox Chapel High School Hockey Association in an effort to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Over 200 fans watched as Penguins General Manager Craig Patrick and Assistant Coach Mike Yeo led the alumni team to a 7-5 victory. 

The alumni squad included former Penguins forwards Warren Young,Mark Kachowski and Francois Leroux, Larry Richert of KDKA and DennisBegley of ESPN Radio.  Pens alumnus and former defenseman Dennis Owchar also traveled from Toronto to join in the fun.

Penguins Head Coach Michel Therrien participated in the fundraiser by serving as honorary coach  for the Fox Chapel High School Team

Throughout the game, fans had the opportunity to win a variety of prizes including hockey memorabilia.  At the conclusion of the game, a meet & greet session was held for all participants.   

The event raised over $2600 for the American Cancer Society and the Fox Chapel High School Hockey Association.
