PENGUINS HOPE TO MAKE IT TWO IN A ROW SUNDAY AGAINST FLYERS

The Pittsburgh Penguins look to carry momentum in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m. at Mellon Arena.

Fresh off Saturday night’s 6-3 home triumph over the New Jersey Devils, the Penguins look to continue their strong play.

Marc-Andre Fleury gave one of his top efforts of the season as he stopped 38 of 41 Devils shots.

“They guys played well from the beginning to the end,” he said. “I think everyone played hard and we won as a team.”

The Penguins (15-37-12) welcome Brooks Orpik back to the lineup. Saturday night, he sat out the final contest of a three-game suspension.

The Flyers, who are one point behind the Rangers for the Northeast Division lead, dropped a 6-5 decision to Buffalo on Saturday.

FSN Pittsburgh will televise the contest at 7:30 p.m., while 3WS (94.5 FM) will start its radio broadcast with a pregame show at 7 p.m. The broadcast may be found live through streaming audio on pittsburghpenguins.com as well.
