Fans Enjoy Shoot Out in Indiana

The Penguins Alumni Hockey Team traveled to the Indiana Ice & Expo Center in Indiana, PA to face-off against Team Adelphia Advantage and raise money for local youth programs on January 29, 2006.

Coached by former Penguins General Manager Jack Riley and goaltender Ken Wregget, the alumni team included Phil Bourque, Troy Loney, Warren Young, Francois Leroux, Kim Clackson and Mark Kachowski.

Over 350 fans watched the high-scoring contest which ended in an Adelphia shootout win 11-10.  The game was tied 7-7 at the end of regulation. 

The Indiana-based team included Indiana Youth Hockey Association coaches, IUP players and coaches and coaches from Altoona Youth Hockey.

The event raised over $8,000 for local youth initiatives.
