Colby Armstrong had a goal and two assists and Maxim Talbot netted two goals to lead the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 5-0 victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack Wednesday in Wilkes-Barre.

Sebastien Caron turned aside 26 shots to record his second shutout of the season and the 10th of his Wilkes-Barre career.

The Baby Penguins are now 5-2 under new coach Joe Mullen.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton continues to lead the overall American Hockey League standings with a 26-3-2-1 record for 55 points.

The Baby Penguins have been remarkably dominant at both ends of the ice. They lead the AHL in team defense, having allowed only 55 goals in 32 games (the next-closest team has allowed 76 goals) and rank second in team offense with 125 goals scored.
