The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned goaltender Sebastien Caron to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced Saturday by General Manager Craig Patrick.
Caron, 25, has appeared in 13 games this season with the Penguins, posting a 5-3-3 record with a 3.95 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound native of Amqui, Quebec has appeared in 77 NHL games, all with the Penguins, posting a 21-41-10 record with a 3.41 goals against average and a .894 save percentage.
