PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Michel Ouellet to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today by General Manager Craig Patrick.
Ouellet, 23, appeared in three games with the Penguins, going scoreless with a plus-1 rating. He was recalled by the Penguins on November 22nd from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The 6-0 and 202 pound native of Rimouski, Quebec was drafted by the Penguins in the fourth round (124th overall) of the 2000 Entry Draft. Ouellet leads Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in scoring this season with 29 points (10+19) in 17 games.
