PENGUINS TO REPORT TO TRAINING CAMP SEPT. 13; PRACTICES START SEPT. 14 AT MELLON ARENA
(Camp will be open to the public Sept. 14-18)
Pittsburgh Penguins players will report to training camp on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Mellon Arena. The schedule for the first day will involve medical exams, physical testing and a team meeting. There will be voluntary open ice for the players from 1-3 p.m.
Practice sessions begin on Wednesday, Sept.14 at 8 a.m under the direction of head coach Eddie Olczyk and his staff. Practices and the training camp tournament will be open to the public, free of charge, from Sept. 14-18.
Fans may enter Gate 1 at Mellon Arena. Arena concession stands will be open.
The names of the four teams in this year’s camp tournament will honor some of the key figures in Penguins history: Badger Bob Johnson, Herb Brooks, Ron Francis and Eddie Johnston.

A limited number of full season tickets and 20-game ticket plans are available for the 2005-06 season, and Penguins ticketing representatives will be on hand to assist fans during the practice and tournament sessions.
Individual game tickets for the 2005-06 season will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m.
