| Feisty, energetic winger that plays with a physical edge and excels on penalty kill. Often used in a shutdown role against opposing teams’ top forward units. Nickname - “Cookie” 13-year NHL veteran has played over 800 career games with Vancouver, Washington and Pittsburgh. Won Stanley Cup title with Pittsburgh in 2009. Was a key member of the Penguins’ No. 1-ranked penalty killing unit in 2010-11 — the first time Pittsburgh has finished the regular season with the NHL’s top PK unit. He ranked T-10th in the league in shorthanded goals (3), T-2nd in shorthanded assists (3) and T-5th in shorthanded points (6). Ranked 2nd on the team and led all Penguins forwards with 192 hits in 2010-11. Has 301 points (126G-175A) and plus-50 rating in NHL career. Hit double digits in goals 9 times in career. Topped 30-point mark 6 times in career. His best season was 2002-03 with Vancouver when he posted career highs in goals (15), assists (27), points (42) and plus-minus rating (+21).
