Pens to Hold 'Expanded' Student Rush Monday

The Pittsburgh Penguins will hold an "expanded" Student Rush night on Monday, March 4, when more than 500 discounted tickets will be available to college and high school students. The Penguins take on the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:30 p.m. at CONSOL Energy Center.

The American Eagle Student Rush program normally offers 200 tickets for each Penguins game, but Monday is one of three games where more than 500 tickets will be available.

The traditional Student Rush line will form at the American Eagle Gate and extend along Fifth Avenue. Tickets will go on saleat 6 p.m. on Monday.

Tickets are $25 cash for those with valid college or high school student IDs.

There will be a DJ, prizes and giveaways, as well as a "special surprise" for students in line.

The other expanded Student Rush nights will be April 2 vs. Buffalo and April 17 vs. Montreal.
