How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan? I became a fan in 1985. I grew up a product of the military and happen to see a Penguins game on TV, rare for the time and even more rare due to never living in the home market. It was also the first hockey game I can remember watching. Even at 5 years old, I was hooked. The speed and physicality of the game really drew me in. Throughout our moves over the years, I would search sports sections of the papers trying to find any information on how the team was doing. Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)? Mario Lemieux

Game 2 of the 2009 ECF against Carolina. My wife surprised me with tickets and in doing so I got to take her to her first live game. It was an amazing game to boot. Geno locking up the hat trick with the no-look-back-hander. It was a game full of everything great about Penguins hockey. There was a fight, great plays and the amazing play-off atmosphere that Pens fans bring!
On game day I usually...
Grab a jersey from the closet, get cold drinks and snacks ready and then gather the family for game time. During and after the game I also live chat with other fans on my fan site about what is happening in the game.
