It’s that time of year again, only how about making some New Years resolutions that are fun to adhere to? December was full of wonderful skating events for the Ice Crew! I would like to propose an alternative to the traditional New Years resolutions as I reminisce on our exciting end of the year activities.


“I like to move it, move it - you like to move it!” These enthusiastic song lyrics could be heard during “Moving Day,” an inspirational walk held in the North Shore in support of the National Parkinson Foundation. The Ice Crew and Iceburgh had the opportunity to join in on the event by partaking in the warm-up, meeting some of the participants and cheering on the walkers from start to finish.

We have all heard the proverbial phrase, "All good things must come to an end." As the Pens season reached its climactic finale in April, so did my unforgettable experience as being a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins Ice Crew.
